Misunderstood Politics Of Nitish Kumar

Nitish Kumar is admired by those who live outside the state but he is much misunderstood in the state itself.People have understood his developmental theory but his politics is baffling for them.
Nitish Kumar is seen as much castiest as Lalu Prashad Yadav and he deliberately allowed this notion to stick with his name.
The reason being that he was projected someone who aligned with upper castes ,particularly with the Bhumihar,to wrest power from the RJD.This perception was depleting his backward caste base.So he chose to consolidate his votes by sticking to caste formula.This was essential to blunt the advantage enjoyed by RJD thus far.
Another theory is that Nitish Kumar did not tried to invade into the BJP territory and left the space for BJP to nurture further.But the BJP failed miserably.It's MLA's performed pathetically on the ground and as a consequence Congress has retrieved most of the lost ground.
If Congress keeps RJD at bay then the BJP would be severely hit as it has nothing to show to the public who made it the second largest party in the state.
Considering the negative image of BJP,Nitish Kumar might alling with the congress to form the next government.Continuing with the BJP might prove a disaster for Nitish Kumar.
