Lalu Yadav is organising " Parivartan Rally" to oust the present government.His choice "Parivartan" instead of "Lathi Pilawan" or similar words suggests that for electoral compulsion he has decided to not not abuse and intimidate a certain section of the society any more .There is no guarantee however that he will maintain the restrain in future also.
Those in politics can change colors in a second but it is very hard for ordinary mortals to forget the insult and humiliations.So it will be very hard for them to erase that from their memory.
It is equally true that a large section of society are feeling dismayed over the bizarre ways of JDU.But Nitish Kumar still enjoys considerable respect and credibility.So his explanation can placate those who are angry with him for the time being.
Lalu Yadav ,however can recover substantial ground by positive politics.If Nitish Kumar fails to understand the popular mood then Lalu can benefit from that and bounce back.But that is not going to be in hurry.People are likely to extend one more term to Nitish Kumar.
